After 4 years of partial ownership, artists Aron Conaway and Hallie Jones are buying out their partners and continuing to repair & transform this historic social hall into an artists' collective space. An extended stage, dj booth, bar, seven new studios, lots of tools and lots of wide open space lend well to a number of creative uses for Nelligan Hall -- located in the Portland Neighborhood, directly across the Ohio River from the Falls of the Ohio State Park and Shippingport Island.

Nelligan Hall recently hosted a conversation between 40 artists regarding the development of a new Louisville Art Academy in the works.
